The Time I Telepathically Told Someone to Pay Me — And They Did

File this as one of the experiences that blew my mind.
Years ago, I did a copywriting project for a beauty photographer. He was putting together books of hair styles for beauty salons and I wrote all of the descriptions of the styles. For weeks I went around to different beauty salons doing this work and then I invoiced him as usual. And I waited for my money. And it never came.
I had done all this work and he allowed me to keep working and when it was time for me to get paid — crickets. The guy I was doing the work for kept giving me one excuse after another. Finally he admitted that there was no money to pay me.
At the time I didn’t have much sympathy for him because he didn’t keep me updated on what was going on; rather he let me continue to do more and more work, knowing full well he didn’t have the money to pay. (Yes, I was at fault for not getting a deposit or invoicing sooner, but I’ll chalk that up to being young and inexperienced in my career.)
Then the guy disappeared. He wasn’t answering his phone or responding to my emails. He ghosted me long before ghosting was even a thing.
Months went by.
When we were coming up on a year, I remember one day getting really angry because I felt like he needed to pay me my money. I was probably going through some financial emergency of my own at the time, which is why it was bothering me so much that particular day. I remember thinking, he needs to pay me my money.
Lo and behold, later that day, he emailed me and told me he was sending me the money he owed me. And he paid up that week.
I don’t believe in coincidences. And I don’t believe that I was picking up on the fact that he was going to pay me because I was so angry and frustrated about it that my intuition was probably blocked. Rather, I believe my emotion was so strong that the message had a stronger telepathic quality than most of my thoughts and he was able to pick up on it. So following that line of thought, keep this advice in mind:
