The Daily Habit That Will Keep Psychic Messages Coming
If there's one thing you should do to get important intuitive insights each day it is this.
Making a conscious effort to integrate intuition into your life is like breaking through a barrier and seeing that what was in black and white is now in technicolor.
You feel more certain that you’re making the right decisions.
You notice when something seems off.
You aren’t as concerned about external validation.
Your relationships improve as you can feel and interpret the energy of those who are around you.
Your creative and professional endeavors start to become more successful as your actions are in alignment with the flow of the universe.
But let’s face it. Most of us don’t experience this on a daily basis. We may be feeling connected and inspired and know in our bones what to do in a specific situation one moment only to feel unsure and doubtful the next. Well, here’s the good news. One simple habit can change that.
If you’ve ever wished your intuition had an easy-to-use on and off switch, it does. One of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to working their intuition is they forget to ask questions.
How to come up with the right questions
Say you were lost and you wanted directions to a new restaurant where you were supposed to meet some friends. The restaurant is in an area of town that you’re unfamiliar with and your GPS says it’s close but you just don’t see it. What would you do? Would you wait for someone to walk by and point the restaurant out to you or would you ask someone where the restaurant was? While there’s always the possibility that you will stumble across someone who happens to lead you to the restaurant (yes, I’m a fan of synchronicity), the easiest way to get the answer you want is by asking the right question.
So how do you apply that to intuition? Start normalizing having a question in your head at all times. There is always something you want to know. There is always information your intuition can help you with.
The question can be specific:
Should I have that tough conversation with my partner today?
Should I ask my boss about my prospects for getting a raise right now?
Is my kitty feeling ok?
Should I start sending out my resume now or should I wait?
Should I go to the dinner party my co-worker invited me to?
Is this a good time to sign up for online dating?
Or if you don’t think you have any questions, ask something that’s more open-ended and that invites your intuition to chime in on the big picture.
What message do I need to know right now?
What am I overlooking in my life at this time?
Where should I direct my energy at this point in my life?
Who in my life doesn’t have my best interests in mind?
You may have multiple questions, but I think it’s better to focus on one at a time, at least until you become more familiar with and comfortable with this practice. Once you have a question in mind, that’s where the magic comes in.
How to identify the answer
Once you’re clear on what you need to know you’ve opened a channel with your intuition to start receiving guidance. In other words, you’ve started a conversation. Now it’s the Universe’s time to respond. And trust me, the Universe will respond. You just have to know what to look for and pay attention, which can be easier said than done.
The answer can come in so many different ways. Some common ways include:
A word or phrase someone says to you that answers your question.
A billboard that has a word that answers your question.
A song you hear that gives you the answer.
The appearance of an animal or insect that has special meaning for you.
A strong desire to do something or to stay away from something.
A dream that gives you insight on what to do next.
There are a couple of things you can do to increase your odds of recognizing the answer when you get it.
Stay in the present moment. Your message may come and go quickly. If you’re caught up thinking about what happened yesterday or what may happen tomorrow, you’re probably going to miss it when it comes.
Pay attention to people who remind you of someone. There are certain people we are drawn to communicate with because they have a message for us. One way that we can identify them is they often remind us of people who are currently in our lives. The familiarity we feel is one of the Universe’s ways of drawing us to that person and engaging them. If you come across someone who reminds you of someone consider saying hello or striking up a conversation. There is a caveat here: If a person reminds you of someone who you dislike or who you have strong negative feelings about, stay away from them. That’s your intuition speaking to you too.
Look for patterns in colors. There are billions of sights, sounds and movements competing for our attention throughout the day. But we don’t notice most of them. So there’s meaning in what we do happen to notice. Pay attention to the small things. Does that blue jacket being worn by the woman across the street catch your eye? Is your boss wearing that same shade of blue when you get to work? That could be your intuition saying yes to having an important conversation with your manager that day. Don’t be afraid to draw conclusions or connect the dots.
Once you have an answer to your question, do these 2 things
You have to have the courage to act on the answer. While that’s a post for another day, taking action on intuitive insights is one of the most powerful things we can do to engage our intuition.
The second thing you need to do once you have the answer to your question is come up with another question for the intuition to provide an answer to. Remember, there are always questions. And if you want to be the recipient of intuitive messages every day of your life — and yes, you should want that — then you have to have questions every day of your life.

As for identifying the answer I've noticed something that accompanies your steps is that I also have a strong feeling, where something lights up inside me and shouts "yes! that's it" this internal leaping that feels like coming alive is my spirit / intuition helping me identify the answer or my path.
